Micropigmentation training courses, also known as semi-permanent makeup, are open to members of the cosmetic industry. Some procedures such as scar camouflage are complicated and require an experiences technician with more substantial training.
Micropigmentation is not officially recognised as a medical procedure; therefore a medical licence is not required to take part in training courses. However, these days insurance companies are becoming stricter and many are refusing to insure those without a medical or beauty qualification.
Upon completion of a micropigmentation training course in the UK you will be eligible to perform the procedure in your clinic.
